Making a Video Page Available Offline

How to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x to make a video page (and all of its videos) available off line:

Move this page to the side and click on the Help with Videos page.  (The Help with Videos page should now have a blue title bar, indicating that it is active.)

    1)   Although the following directions are for making the Agility Videos page available offline, you can also follow these directions to make the other video pages available offline.  Navigate to the Agility Videos page.

    2)   Click to refresh the Agility Videos page.  Click , then click and you see:

    3)   Click the box to the left of Make available offline so you see:

    4)   Click .  Then click  and you see:

    5)   Click and you see:

Now click .

    6)   Click again at the bottom of the next window.  Then you see:

Click and you again see:

    7)   Now click and the video page and its video files will begin to download. As the files download, you will see:

    8)

Click now to stop the downloading.  (You will later finish the downloading for this video page.)

    9)   Repeat steps 1 through 8 for the other three video pages (Obedience Videos, Miscellaneous Videos, and Videos of Tricks.)

    10)   From the Internet Explorer main menu, select .  Then select .

Make sure there are check marks in the the boxes to the left of Agility Videos, Obedience Videos, Miscellaneous Videos, and Videos of Tricks.  You should see:

Now click , and (unless you lose your internet connection) all the video files for all four pages will download to your computer.

After the downloading is complete, you can (while offline) select any of these pages from and view the videos without waiting for them to download.

Remarks:

1. If your internet connection gets broken during the downloading, you will probably not see an error message, so the only way to tell if the downloading was completed is to try to view some of the videos offline.

2. If you lose your internet connection during the downloading (or you stop the downloading yourself), just repeat (this) step 10 and the downloading will continue at the point where it was stopped.

3.  As more videos are posted to this web site, you can do step 10 to update the offline pages (and download all the video files not already on your computer).

4.  The videos in your computer's offline cache may also be available online for some limited period of time.
